Grant County Jail’s mission is to ensure that Grant County Jail’s dedicated team of professionals takes care of the Grant County public’s safety. Grant County Jail Visitation Hours

The Grant County Jail uses the external Telmate system to schedule inmate visits. The process can be accomplished online or by visiting the Grant County Jail to use a Telmate kiosk. If you visit the Grant County Jail in person, you must bring your state ID or driver’s license. The Grant County Jail discourages scheduling visits at the last minute since all scheduled visits are subject to a 18-hour waiting period during which the Grant County Jail inmate must confirm the visit. However, if an inmate does not confirm, the Grant County Jail will not allow you to visit.

Grant County Jail allows inmates to receive visitors from Monday to Thursday during these periods: 9 AM to 8 PM. Every inmate can only have up to two 33-minutes visits per week for one hour of visitation time. A maximum of 4 visitors can attend each visitation session. The Grant County Jail encourages all visitors to arrive early in case delays, changes arise, or additional paperwork is required.

Grant County Jail also allows video visitation for people who live far away from the Grant County Jail. However, video visitations cost $16.00 every 27 minutes, unlike free in-person visits.
